This is a specialist service for pregnant smokers, which aims to help women who wish to quit.

The service is FREE of charge and offers intensive individual support in your home or at your antenatal clinic, alongside the use of Nicotine Replacement Therapy.

During the initial visit, the various products and preparation for quitting are discussed, and a quit date is set with the Specialist Smoking & Pregnancy Advisor. FREE Nicotine Replacement Therapy is available to ALL pregnant women quitting with the support of our advisor, who will monitor dosage on a weekly basis. The advisor will then visit the pregnant smoker for a further four weeks - the main part of the withdrawal period.

Throughout the visits, advice is given on the most effective and safest way to quit, which will benefit both mother and baby.
