Following a difficult year and extremely hard work, Enfield & Haringey Quit Smoking Service has achieved its highest success rates ever!

Earlier in 2004, the service set up a new satellite clinic at St Michael's Centre in Chase Side and, between this and the main clinic run at the North Middlesex Hospital, is now running four clinics a week for Enfield residents. The response from quitters, alongside the hard work of the team, meant that the service achieved a success rate of 85%.

The service is also toasting the success of its Level 2 advisors, who also worked extremely hard and achieved an unprecedented success rate of 67%.

In a year of extremely challenging targets the service overall helped 61% of the 1,600 quitters suggested by the Department of Health.
