Enfield & Haringey Quit Smoking Service has launched a new website, www.quitsmoking.uk.com, which provides a range of information about the treatment options and allows local residents to make a booking at the touch of a button.

The website offers local people the opportunity to check the dates and availability of Specialist Smokers' Clinics at three locations and then use the online booking form to secure their place at the chosen clinic.

This is the first smoking cessation website to offer patients and health professionals the opportunity to make bookings electronically, in addition to over the telephone.

The website also features stories from successful quitters who previously attended the Specialist Clinic, information on nicotine addiction and the benefits of stopping smoking.
